Pit traps and random transect walks around Yupukari hill

Crested Doradito

Thanks to local bird guide, Manuel Mandook, the wildlife club visited a site on the borders of Karanambu and Quatata to see the Crested Doradito. The club learned that this is an important bird for bird watchers. A life list maker. We found many is this drying savannah wetland.

GATBS VISITS !!!

Guyana Amazon Tropical bird society visited from Oct 26 – Nov 5. Worked in Yupukari, Quatata, Ireng & Takatu rivers,
and Karasabi. Shamir was with them throughout. The Wildlife club went birdwatching with the crew all over Yupukari.
